Cassie Makinen - MK

Classic ReBoot Co-Director

Born in Canada, Cassie’s first 16 years of life were spent in many places around the world. Mainly Fiji and Nepal were “home”.

Cassie’s parents were called to as missionaries with YWAM. Cassie has a BA in English Literature with a Global Context Specialization from the  University of Waterloo. In 2018, she lived in Argentina for 5 months completing a Discipleship Training School with YWAM.

Deeply encouraged by her experiences at Wilderness Reboot 2018, Cassie jumped at the opportunity to serve as MK Staff at Classic ReBoot ON 2019 and PReBoot 2020. She loves to encourage MKs as they process their own stories, acknowledging the grief and the joy through it all. This is her first year co-directing Classic ReBoot.

Cassie and her husband Eric live in Kitchener, Ontario. She enjoys camping, painting, reading, and sharing/listening deeply to testimonies, all with a pot of tea close by.
