CMKN Care Coordinator

Jennifer Block serves as the Care Coordinator for the Canadian Missionary Kid Network (CMKN), where her heart is to see Missionary Kids (MKs) feel known, supported, and equipped to thrive. She mobilizes prayer, raises up and encourages leaders who minister to MKs, and helps coordinate mentoring initiatives, ReBoot gatherings, retreats, and fundraising efforts. She also works closely with the CMKN Director to strengthen and expand support for MKs across Canada.

Having grown up as a Missionary Kid in Venezuela and Bolivia, Jennifer understands firsthand both the beauty and the challenges of the MK journey. Her own story fuels her compassion and commitment to walking alongside others. With professional training as a psychotherapist, she brings both spiritual sensitivity and practical insight to her care for MKs and their families.

When Jennifer repatriated to Canada, she experienced the loneliness and disorientation that can accompany transition. Navigating that season largely on her own shaped her calling: to be a steady, compassionate presence for MKs who are finding their footing between cultures and seasons of life.

In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys painting, writing, spending time with family and friends, pursuing new adventures, and delighting in God’s creation.
