We love because Jesus first loved us (1 John 4:19). We give because Jesus first gave to us (John 3:16). MORE is a ministry of giving in community … of our time, our love, our finances and our prayer. Because generosity is a spiritual gift.

We often point to others and suggest they give. (After all, they have more than we do!) God calls everyone of us to give out of our poverty (Mark 12:41-44), promising we will not regret it (Matthew 6:25-34).
God sent $500 earmarked for ReBoot through a missionary couple “paying it forward”. God sent $650 from an MK (19) who had attended ReBoot the previous year. They did not know those they were helping, yet God’s work was accomplished through their willingness and faith.
While we are ‘surprised’ at missionaries and MKs giving gifts like these, we really shouldn’t be. Who better to know of the need than those who have experience?

Prayer is the greatest gift you can give us! Remember how God answered Abraham’s servant’s prayer for a wife for his master’s son Issac, in Genesis 24? He asked God for a generous woman. (A woman who would not only give him a drink of water, but would offer to water his camels as well.) God answered his prayer and gave him far more than he asked for. That’s how God works.
