Transitioning from a cross-cultural assignment is a process that takes time and is best achieved with the support of trained, and experienced personnel. No need to undertake this journey alone. Let us help connect you with others who can walk alongside you, providing safety and nurturing along the way.
ReBoot Vision:
To provide a safe place for Canadian MKs of all ages to review their life stories and be refreshed through worship and peer relationships, in order to navigate the on-going transition to Canadian life and culture with God's grace.
I would recommend any MK go to Wilderness ReBoot. It is a place to find that you are not alone in the weirdness of being an MK and a safe place to share thoughts, prayers, struggles, stories about ourselves and be encouraged by others with similar experiences. Friendships are formed around the campfire exchanging stories during meals and during worship time. We also got to know each other during the fun activities like swimming, cliff jumping and horse-back riding. It was great to take a break from the distractions of life and just focus on each activity or quiet time. Not only did we get to know each other, but each morning was dedicated to quietness. I enjoyed spending time alone with God.
