ReBoot Vision:
To provide a safe place for Canadian MKs of all ages to review their life stories and be refreshed through worship and peer relationships, in order to navigate the on-going transition to Canadian life and culture with God's grace.
"I found it all being very helpful and will be implementing all of it in my practice from now on. The moderators were great and they knew their stuff. I appreciate how truly involved everyone was!" —Debriefing 101 attendee.

Debriefing 101 is a workshop which is interactive, experiential and skill-building, with the objective that each person attending will know the WHY and HOW of debriefing cross cultural workers.
It is geared towards mission agency member care workers, pastors and lay people serving on mission committees, missionaries themselves, and anyone else engaged in resourcing and caring for cross cultural workers. While the focus of this debriefing training is on missionary and MK care and support, it is applicable to effective relationships in other settings as well.

Stephen and Marcella served in Zambia, Gabon and South Africa for 20 years. During their time in Africa, they were involved in theological education, field leadership, health teaching and HIV/AIDS projects.
In their leadership role the importance of member care and listening to stories prompted Steve to further his education and training to support individuals and families who worked and lived in cultures not their own. Part of this preparation involved a variety of courses in member care through Columbia Biblical Seminary in the USA.
After their return from Africa, Steve served one year with MissionPrep then completed a Master of Spiritual Care & Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. Steve spent 11 years working as a Registered Psychotherapist in Tyndale University’s Family Life Center before their move to Winnipeg in 2020. He is currently working as a Counselling Therapist with Recovery of Hope in Winnipeg. Marcella worked for Toronto Public Health. In the last years of her employment, she worked as a mental health nurse consultant providing workshops on workplace mental health promotion, prevention of intimate partner violence and suicide prevention for community health and service agency staff. Through Tyndale University, she organized and ran two workshops for Christian workers which were focused on self-care.
